You might recognize Mike, or at least someone who looks like him, from the 1980 movie, “The Shining.” His second cousin, Danny, was one of the main characters — also named Danny. How cool is that? When he isn’t hanging out with his star-studded relatives or his wife and two daughters, you can find him coaching softball or working in the yard at his home in Grimes. This University of Iowa alum holds two degrees in accounting and management and has a life goal to own a place in Okoboji. Let’s hope no one puts an axe through the door of his dream home.
